A Wedding in Barbaresco – Piemonte Countryside
Getting married in Langhe – Piemonte Countryside could be a dream! Especially if you chose Barbaresco village as Laura and Mikeal did!
Laura and Mikael come from Norway and they decided to celebrate their most beautiful day in Piemonte Countryside.
They love wines and traditional Piemonte food so they could not chose a different place for their wedding in Italy!
For their getting ready Laura and Mikael decided for a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Langhe very close to the venue they chose for their wedding reception so it could be very handy for their trip back at night after the party. View of the hills here is guaranteed!
Once ready the group reached close by Barbaresco village.
Day was stunning clear and hot so we could have the chance to make Laura and Mikael dream come true: a legal civil ceremony on top of Barbaresco Tower!
This could be a wonderful spot for a civil ceremony in Langhe, the view is just stunning!!
Guests and Mikael reached the tower before while Laura arrived a little after with a car. Panoramic lift took her on top of the tower and ceremony with Langhe view could begin.
Laura was simply stunning in her laces dress with a romantic loose and country chic bridal bouquet in green and white.
After the ceremony and some charming wedding photos in Barbaresco village close to local vines, vineries and famous wine producer headquarter Gaja bride and groom reached their guests to a local vinery for a wine tasting of local wines including famous Barbaresco!
Group was ready to move the the reception venue now!
Laura and Mikel for their wedding reception chose one of the most stunning venues in Langhe.
Do you remember about Tracy and Kelly’s wedding? We got back!!
We are talking about an ancient Cascina located on very top of Vines hills overlooking a spectacular view of vine and hazelnuts hills and snow capped Alps.
This ancient Cascina was successfully renewed with a modern twist respecting its precious history and charm.
As the matter of fact Cascina has a glorious past back in 19040s. It is just here where Partigiani resists to Nazi-Fascist during WW2. The dawn of new country was born among these walls and these hills.
Welcome aperitif was served in the back garden where bride and groom and their guests could enjoy a super rich aperitif. It was made of all the best food of Piemonte cuisine. Prosecco and traditional Piemonte Vermouth made the rest!
When the sun set the whole group moved to the panoramic room of our Cascina. Laura and Mikael chose a traditional Langhe menu for their reception and everybody loved it!
On the tables small and country chic white and green centrepieces in maison jars that perfectly matches Laura bouquet and style.
Wedding reception ended with the cutting of a traditional Piemonte style wedding cake and a cigar bar.
Dances could begin and bar could open.
The fun group dances the night away overlooking a wonderful night view over Langhe hills! The best day ever for all!
