Villa Palmieri, the perfect venue for a Luxury Jewish Wedding in Florence
The venue they chose for the wedding event was Villa Palmieri. Villa Palmieri is a historic villa located in the hills just outside Florence, Tuscany. It’s renowned for its beautiful gardens, historical significance, and its association with prominent figures in history and literature.
This stunning villa holds a rich history; Villa Palmieri dates back to the Renaissance period and is known for hosting significant figures like the Medici family and Niccolò Machiavelli, the famous political philosopher and writer. Machiavelli’s works, including “The Prince,” were said to have been inspired by his time at this villa.

The Chuppah Ceremony
The Jewish wedding started with the chuppah ceremony held by the rabbi on the tennis court, which we covered with grass, making it a beautiful garden. The Chuppah (or chuppa) is a significant and symbolic element in Jewish wedding ceremonies. It represents the bride and groom’s new home together, symbolizing the shelter and the shared space they will build as a couple. The Chuppah ceremony takes place beneath a canopy, traditionally consisting of a cloth supported by four poles.
The chuppah of Emma & Dan was richly decorated with white orchids and roses, and the aisle, framed by the background of the facade of the villa with a lush runner of roses, embellished the catwalk. Emma arrived in her lace siren wedding dress with a bouquet of white roses and walked along the aisle with her proud dad.

Cocktail Hour in the Italian Garden
After the ceremony, all guests moved to the Italian garden for cocktails, where they found different buffets with Italian preparations such as the spritz bar, the pizza corner, the cheeses corner, and a variety of finger foods.

Elegant Dinner Reception at Villa Palmieri
The seated dinner took place on the terrace of Villa Palmieri, under a white marquee since the weather was uncertain. Centerpieces were decorated with gold candelabra and pink and orange peonies.
The dinner of a Jewish wedding focuses more on dances than on food, and in this case, a joyful French band, the Fomo, entertained all guests all night long, making them dance and sing and creating an unforgettable event for everyone.
