A Jewish Wedding in Monferrato – Piemonte Countryside
We get back to Monferrato and Piemonte Countryside to tell you about Anna and Larry’s romantic and sweet Jewish wedding.
Anna and Larry are two lovely guys living in United States. Larry in particular has special connections with our country as he works a lot here and he also speak a little Italian!
They wanted to plan a very romantic wedding in the countryside with an elegant touch and a country chic twist.
They got in touch with us once they decided for their special wedding venue: a lovely relais close by Asti who lays on vineyards hills.
We were more than happy to follow this romantic project as we know very well the venue and we planned other wonderful weddings here.
As Anna and Larry wanted a Jewish wedding we needed to focus our plans to the details of the ceremony first.
Bride and groom travelled with their lovely Rabbi who perform their ketubah ceremony and the wedding ceremony to follow. He also blessed the couple and the food before the reception.
We arranged a separate room for bride and groom and their families to sign the ketubah and then we designed a special area in the garden of the relais where the ceremony could be performed.
Lovely huppah was set at the end of a garden by two big trees in a very romantic setting.
It was made of white drapes and floral decors made of white hydrangeas.
The rest of frame was embellished by white chairs for the guests and two big wine barrels at the beginning of the aisle to give that country chic touch to the setting.
The Jewish Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony was really moving and it was full accompanied by amazing musicians from Teatro Regio di Torino. They were Larry’s friends who were incredibly happy to play for such a wonderful day.
After the ritual kiss and the smashing of the glass the party could begin!
Anna and Larry took some time for them to take amazing wedding photos in the close by vineyards. Great shots of their amazing love and some fun ones with the bridal party.
Wonderful shots you can see here are taken by David Bastianoni and his Team.
Aperitif was served in the courtyard of the relais where rabbi also blessed bridal Challah bread for bride and groom to break.
A great party for a wonderful group
Reception was served in the wonderful function room of the relais.
Ambiance lights, amazing floral decors made with roses and orchids made the atmosphere magic.
There was also a great dance floor with a LOVE sign at the back and dj playing for the party.
At the end of the dinner bride and groom had their Hora dance. It is always a great fun moment for all including us! We loved it. It is a great energy and amazing moment for all the group.
The cutting of the cake was planned back outdoor under a lovely pergola with fairy lights and dozens of sparklers! Cocktail bar was open and the dances could start!
A great party for a wonderful group. A great day we will always remember.

Posted at 15:15h, 08 OctoberHi!
Me and my fiancé Peer are planning a wedding in Italy in autumn 2025.
We have looked a lot for ourselves so far, but I think it is a bit demanding to plan a wedding on your own that will take place in another country. We have many ideas about what we could imagine, but have not reached the goal of where we want this to be. We have looked at Tuscany, Umbria and Piedmont so far. Both want it to take place in the countryside, among the wineranks. We will not have a very large wedding, we are thinking 20-25 guests, and our 2 dogs. We would like all guests to stay in the same place as us, or as close as possible. We only need a symbolic ceremony, as we are getting married at the town hall sometime in the New Year. We have come up with a budget of around 15000 euros. The guests themselves cover the cost of accommodation.
Would love to hear from you, if you have any ideas that would suit our needs!
Kind regards
Aurora and Peer
