An elegant lilac wedding in Monferrato countryside

Lilac is one of the most trendy color of these last years.
Fine, delicate and glamour…
It usually match with ivory in different shades of flowers such as roses, hydrangeas, lavender and peony.

The new trend on country weddings looks for the match between rustic and elegant so why do not use this delicate shade in a different but interesting way?
No other color than lilac could give a country chic touch to a wedding!

Today we would like to tell you about Fabiola and Marco’s wedding a very country chic event that we arranged on Monferrato hills.

Fabiola and Marco wanted an arrangement all based on country elements such as hazelnut ranches, herbs, much greenery, ivory rustic cotton fabric. Chic element was lilac and it become the key element of all the event.

For their big day bride and groom choose a Monferrato countryside Charming Relais, Southern Piemonte.
Monferrato is the land of some of the most known Italian wines. It is also famous for great food and enogastronomic tradition. This land is made of infinite vines, castles and villages on the top of the hills and quaint roads that go along the green in spring and red in autumn.

Hotel was an ancient cascina now transformed into a 4 stars relais with restaurant, wellness. It is right into a countryside setting. Relais is a wonderful example of architectural recover which match late medieval elements with modern essential design lines.

For a day lilac invaded this original Relais de Charme in occasion of Fabiola and Marco’s wedding.
Every little detail of the wedding recalled this sweet shade: favors, wedding cake, menus on the table embellished with a lavender flower.

Fabiola and Marco’s wedding cake was prepared by the hotel baker. It gave such a romantic touch to the event thanks to its white color and bright lilac of the roses on it.

Fabiola wanted for her wedding a very unusual dress.
She started from a simple model enriching it with a thin silk lilac thread which created soft curls and floral details. A wonderful and original choice.

Moreover bride wanted for her husband to be and herself lilac shades on their dresses, including a wonderful rose pomandier for her bouquet.

Lilac roses, silk ribbons and organza fabric shuffled perfectly with such a rustic atmosphere and venue.
Colors like orange, yellow or even pink could have given to the event a too rustic touch, while lilac was the perfect choice to make it chic and unique.

We could have thought to something better for a chic wedding in Italian countryside!
